Free Trial Period
  • 14-day free trial for new Pro subscribers
  • Cancel anytime during the trial period with no charges
  • Full access to Pro features during the trial
  • Automatic conversion to paid subscription after trial ends
  • Email reminders sent before trial expiration

Subscription Cancellation

How to Cancel

  1. Log in to your CanCodes account
  2. Go to Account Settings
  3. Click “Manage Subscription” to access Stripe billing portal
  4. Select “Cancel Subscription”
  5. Follow the confirmation steps

When Cancellation Takes Effect

  • Monthly subscriptions: Access continues until the end of current billing period
  • Annual subscriptions: Access continues until the end of current billing year
  • No partial refunds for unused time when canceling mid-period
  • You can continue using Pro features until your subscription period ends

Eligible for Refunds

  • Technical Issues: Service unavailable for 48+ hours due to our systems
  • Billing Errors: Incorrect charges or duplicate payments
  • Service Changes: Major feature removals without adequate notice
  • Early Cancellation: Within 7 days of first paid subscription (after free trial)

Not Eligible for Refunds

  • Change of mind after free trial period
  • Unused subscription time (no pro-rated refunds)
  • Temporary service interruptions under 48 hours
  • User error or misunderstanding of service features
  • Violation of Terms of Service resulting in account suspension
How to Request a Refund

  • Transaction ID or payment date
  • Detailed reason for refund request
  • Any relevant screenshots or error messages

  • Review: 5 business days to review your request
  • Approval: Email notification of approval or denial
  • Processing: 5-10 business days for approved refunds
  • Bank Processing: Additional 3-5 business days depending on your bank

Refund Method

  • Refunds processed to original payment method
  • Credit card refunds appear as a credit on your statement
  • Bank transfers may take longer to process
  • We cannot provide refunds via different payment methods
Dispute Resolution

If your refund request is denied and you disagree with our decision:

  2. Provide additional evidence or clarification if available
  3. Request escalation to management for review
  4. As a last resort, you may dispute the charge with your credit card company

Special Circumstances

Annual Subscriptions

  • Full refund available within 30 days of purchase
  • Pro-rated refunds not available after 30 days
  • Service continues until scheduled renewal date after cancellation

Service Disruptions

  • Automatic service credits for outages over 48 hours
  • Partial refunds for extended service unavailability
  • Maintenance windows are scheduled and communicated in advance

Account Violations

  • No refunds for accounts suspended due to Terms of Service violations
  • Appeals process available for disputed suspensions
  • Reinstatement possible upon resolution of violation
